The two most important actions Spring Hill ECO Presbyterian Church can take to support Ukrainian refugees today is prayer and giving to Christian relief organizations.
Prayer Our prayers can focus on peace for Ukraine, minimal war casualties, and the spiritual, emotional, and physical health of ALL effected by this war.
Some prayer suggestions:
-
Peace for Ukraine: Pray to our LORD, Jesus for...
-
The Russian government or people to remove Vladimir Putin from office as the Russian Federation President in order to stop the Ukraine war.
-
All Russian military operations on the ground, in the air, on the sea, and in the cyberspace to result in immediate failure.
-
All Ukrainians /pro-Ukrainians opposing the war to experience "God's peace which passes all understanding" (PHIL 4:6-7) daily in their personal trials, both during this war and afterward.
-
-
Minimal war casualties: Pray to our LORD, Jesus for...
-
Russian and Pro-Russian (Chechen, Syrian, etc. foreign fighters) war equipment to be safely destroyed (and with no loss of life to those who do not yet know you LORD).
-
Russian and Pro-Russian artillery, bombs, and all other munitions as well as cyber attacks to fail (munitions to fail to detonate, miss their targets & safely detonate away from people; the weapon dropping, firing, or launching munitions jam or fail to drop).
-
-
Spiritual, emotional, and physical needs: Pray to our LORD, Jesus for...
-
The Holy Spirit to bring the love, grace, and knowledge of Your salvation to ALL on both sides of the Ukraine War.
-
The Holy Spirit to bring Your good news to everyone touched by this war.
-
Give and Pray Three giving options are below for those donating to relief efforts supporting Ukrainian war refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs). Every dollar adds up, "even the windows mite" (Mark 12:41-44) But if you give, pray for the successful application of your gift to the designated ministry.
